Are you tired of bringing your dog to daycare? Do you ever find yourself wishing there was another option for your pets besides having to put them in the unfamiliar and stressful environment of a kennel? Well, there is! Never Home Alone with Happy Paws Dog Walking & Pet Services is the answer.

We take our commitment to you and your pets seriously. We promise to give your pet the same special attention that we give to our own pets. Animals hold a special place in our hearts. Animals are precious and we will provide them with a loving and caring experience. At Happy Paws, you and your dogs happiness is our main concern.

SERVICEs

Here at Happy Paws we believe that care looks different for every pet. This is why we include nearly any kind of additional service in every single walk or visit – for the simple cost of a traditional service anywhere else. 

 
 
 

Walking and home visits
30 minute visit - $35
45 minute visit - $45
60 minute visit - $55
Add-on 1/2 hour - $20
Add-on hour - $35

Our home visits are all-inclusive. Depending on the needs of you and your pet, we can provide a range of services. Services can include walks, training and socialization, feedings, timely medication administration, playtime, and necessary cleanup. It is important to us that these services take place in the comfort of your home in a familiar environment. We provide text message updates or handwritten notes free of extra charge so that you can be aware of your pets’ activities even while you are away!

 
 

Appointment transportation
$55

Sometimes you have somewhere to be, but so do your pets! We also offer the service of transporting your pets to and from appointments. We’ll get your pet to their vet or grooming appointment in a timely fashion, and return them home after so that they’re there to greet happy, clean and healthy you when you get home.

MEET OUR DOG WALKERS

Never Home Alone with Happy Paws was established simply in order to fulfill the need of pets when their owners were unable to. Though, as a pet lover, it has become so much more to me. I love each and every animal I have had the opportunity to interact with. I have always loved exercise and the outdoors, but I wanted more interaction. I began working for a pet sitting company as their sole dog walker. I had never felt more fulfilled in my life; I loved my job! As a result, I decided to buy the business I was working for so I could tailor it to meet the needs of owners and their pets.

Therese is a mother of six. Even with a home full of babies, she has always enjoyed the company of pets. Before moving to Appleton and starting Happy Paws, she lived on a farm in Wisconsin where she cared for many horses, dogs, cats, fish, birds and bunnies, most of which were rescued. Currently, Therese lives with a golden doodle named Banjo, a Yorkshire Terrier named Lotte, and a cat named Yoko Ono. Therese's pets were the reason for her idea to start her business. Inadequate care from doggie daycares ultimately led her to the realization that not only did she wish there were better options for her pets, but she also wished others had a better option for theirs. Therese, at present, works full time becoming best friends with your pets so that you can have the peace of mind every pet owner deserves.

Hi! I’m Caroline. I am currently living in Little Chute working in freelance illustration/design, and animals of all kinds are a part of my every day life! I have a little mixed breed pup named Zuko and a bunny named Ginkgo as roomies right now! I come from a big family of animal lovers so I can’t remember a time before interacting with animals daily. Our pets are family and it’s endlessly rewarding to know I can give people the comfort and peace of mind knowing that their pets are receiving the best possible attention and care.

I am very lucky  to have Therese come and let our dog out when we are away. I feel so much better knowing he is well cared for and gets to stay at home where he is comfortable. Therese stopped by my house when I was home and I got to see Snuffy’s reaction to her. He was very happy to see her and expected to go for a walk. Something that Therese does that I really appreciate is send a text message saying she has been at our house and let Snuffy out. I am very happy with the service she provides.

I have used “Happy Paws” several times for my dogs and would recommend them to anyone.  My dogs are very nervous and really don’t like boarding at kennels, this was a great alternative. Therese is wonderful, she walks, feeds and plays with the dogs several times a day, then follows up by text to let me know how they are doing.  An added bonus is security for our home.   Not only is she checking on the dogs, but she also brings in the mail and newspapers so it looks like someone is home. I can relax on my vacation knowing that my dogs are happy and well cared for in their own home.
